3. The actual line, which is physically drawn. The implied line, which can be formed by the edge of an object or from a combination of elements in a design that are perceived as a line. The imaginery line which is completely perceived by the eye, and is ‘drawn’ from one location to the next [i.e - a finger pointing to someting].
